Edge or Line

Face or Polygon (Poly)

File Size

The amount of space your file uses on your computer. Models must be under 10MB to be uploaded to the 3D Warehouse.

To create its existence in physical space

Lets you fly anywhere on Earth to look at satellite pictures, maps, weather, 3D buildings and even look through galaxies in the Sky. You can look through rich geographical material, save your toured places and share with others.

Google Sketchup

Software that you can use to create, change and share 3D models. It's easier to learn than other 3D modeling programs, which is why so many people are already using it.

Low Poly

Using the least amount of edges and faces to decrease file size and increase computer performance.

Model

To assume a typical or natural appearance, as the parts of a drawing in progress.

Modeling

The technique of rendering the illusion of volume on a two-dimensional surface by shading.

Save

To set aside for future use; store.

Save As

A variant of save that saves the current document in an alternative format.

Texture or Material

Images or colors that are applied to faces.
