Because there is always a need for fish and other seafood, work on the ships, etc. It stumulates the Economy.

Because they had to fight for their land with the comings Europeans the USA decided to force them to leave their homes. This is why they ended up in Oklahoma.
How do you think being United helped the Cherokee Indian?
Being United helped the Cherokee groups to Unite because they could understand each other better because of the new language and because of a good leader.
What was the purpose of the Haudenosaunee Government?
It helped the 5 nations work together even though each one ruled itself. It helped each of them to answer questions each had about war, peace, and trade.
What does the Haudenosaunee Government do today?
It works to protect their land and tradition of the Indian people.
Who took park in the Govenment of the five nations?
The Peacemaker and Hiawatha helped the Haudenosaunee form a new government.

To exchange things with something else.

When they cleared trees, it gave more light for plants such as Oaks to grow.

They used "Shell Money."

the rivers because fishing was good for their ecomomy.

They traded with other Indians for things they could not make or find in their own environment.

They had one home used for summer which was made to keep them cool; they had a winter home specially made to keep them cool.
